In 1886, Calvary Cemetery (located next to Odd Fellows Cemetery) in Tumwater was established. St. Michael Church in Olympia now oversees the cemetery’s administration. The cemetery was originally part of the Ward homestead; the Ward family sold the property to the Church in 1909.
